Privacy Policy

CleanSweep is designed to process cleanup recommendations on-device. We do not run a custom backend for photo analysis, contact merging, or calendar cleanup.

Data we process

The app can access your photo library, contacts, and calendar only after you grant permission for those specific features. Photo, contact, and calendar data stays on your device unless you explicitly share exported content yourself.

Before merging or deleting contacts, CleanSweep saves a backup copy (a vCard file) of the affected contacts inside the app on your device, so you can restore them. You can also create a full contacts backup yourself. Backups never leave your device unless you share them, and they are removed when you choose Delete All Data in Settings or delete the app.

Third-party services

CleanSweep processes subscriptions on-device with Apple's StoreKit, and uses Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting when enabled and TelemetryDeck for privacy-conscious product analytics when enabled. These services receive the minimum data needed to operate their features.

Your controls

You can delete local app data from Settings at any time. You can also disable analytics, crash reporting, and notification reminders from within the app.
